Welcome and thank you for stopping by.
My full name is Tihomir Serafimov Trichkov, but unless you're Bulgarian, you can call me Tiho.
I'm a passionate photographer who loves what I do.
My specialties include wedding photography, family photoshoots, travel photojournalism and just about any other category you can think of.
My home base is Highlands, North Carolina, but my reach is worldwide (booked for a 2017 wedding in India actually).
When not behind the lense, I enjoy hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains or the Himalayas, exploring caves and forgotten islands, traveling as much as possible and cooking delicious organic foods.
Why should you PicTiho?
In March 2016, I won the Sustainable Travel Category in the Smithsonian Magazine photocontest with my picture titled, My Time (kudos to my friends in Mombasa).
In April 2013 I earned my professional photography diploma from The Photography Institute located in California. That same year, one of my pictures, taken in Peru was chosen as one of the Travel favorites of National Geographic for 2013.
In 2012 I was a finalist in the annual Smithsonian Magazine Photocontest with my picture titled, The shadow strikes back.
